About the Initial Evaluation
Every person's journey at PsychConcierge begins with a comprehensive initial conversation, a 50 to 80 minute collaborative exploration designed to understand you as a whole person, honoring both your lived experience and the context that shapes your daily life. This initial meeting represents the foundation of our partnership. Together, we'll explore the interconnected aspects of your experience, your emotional landscape, life circumstances, relationships, medical history, and the broader context that influences your wellbeing. You bring deep insight into your lived experience, and we bring tools and perspectives that can help clarify patterns and possibilities.
What We'll Explore Together
During our time together, we'll have space to discuss your current concerns, hopes for change, and what's brought you to seek support at this moment. We'll explore your personal and family background, past experiences with mental health care (both helpful and unhelpful), your relationships and social connections, and how various life factors might be impacting your emotional wellbeing. We'll also take time to understand your strengths, resilience patterns, and the coping strategies that have served you well.
